Welcome to Tekwetu (pronounced "tek-weh-too") — a name that combines Tech with Kwetu, a Swahili word meaning "our home", reflecting a sense of belonging and unity.

We live in a world where technology shapes who gets ahead and who gets left behind. Tekwetu exists to close that gap.
Our focus right now is AI, because it's the skill with the most immediate impact. But our mission is broader: we want everyone, regardless of background, to have the tools and confidence to use technology on their own terms.
We focus on practical, immediately useful skills, and we do it in community. We believe the best way to learn something new is to learn it alongside others who are on the same journey.
